Who the desk reads, and how fresh it is

A desk is only as current as its last fetch. Each source has an expected interval; when the last check is older than that, the source is late, and after 3 intervals it is stale. These are demo sources with demo check times.

Tier 2: Established press that reports and checks.

Late or stale: Trends on events that a stale source contributed to are marked incomplete, because reports may be missing.
